The following guides are published by the US Bureau of Reclamation and are freely available for downloading in PDF format.

This manual lists the policies and best practices associated with the management of Bureau of Reclamation power facilities, and serves as a guideline for facility managers to prepare for a power operation and maintenance review.

This volume identifies the philosophy, practices, tools, resources, and assessment needed in the maintenance of Reclamation power facilities, including major pumping facilities. It includes quantitative indicators for measuring performance. These indicators are intended to be used for local management and for power review of operation and maintenance purposes. Maintenance of facilities and equipment primarily used for water storage and conveyance is not covered.
